The EPMA (European Powder Metallurgy Association) has launched a new group focusing on additive manufacturing within the European powder metallurgy industry. The group has been created to assist and support the future use of additive manufacturing (AM) with metal powders in a new and growing industry sector, as many of its leading companies are based in Europe.
Proto Labs wins Queen’s Award for second time

New Formiga upgrades 3D printing
German additive manufacturing system specialist, EOS, has introduced a new system for 3D printing components by laser-sintering plastic powder. Called Formiga P 110, the machine supersedes the P 100 model and introduces some innovations and improvements designed to enhance process stability and reproducibility.
